I opened Scuola Orafa Ambrosiana in 1995 to offer practical laboratory courses aimed at teaching all of the most important techniques related to the Goldsmith world.
I am a lover of this craft that I initially cultivated as a hobby and then decided to transform into a profession years ago, when I founded my School.
I started with two teachers, three courses and a handful of pupils; now we have two schools in Milan and a twin school in Tokyo, Japan.
uring these years the courses have increased from three to twelve with pupils and teachers coming from all over the world. The school has become a reference point for all those who approach the Goldsmith world intending to build a profession and for those who simply want to pratice jewellery making as a hobby.
The secret to our success? Teaching the most beautiful craft in the world of course makes things easy, but we also do our best: I choose my teachers not only on the basis of their experience but also considering their ability and enthuisiasm to communicate and in turn transmit it: it is thanks to them that the School has continued to grow more and more over the years.
A small number of students for each teacher guarantees an excellent didactic quality! The working environment is very pleasant: big, ventilated rooms, the cleanliness and order a school should have, tea and coffee breaks … we do our best to treat ourselves well: I am convinced that only when you are feeling good can you give your best! Our schools are conveniently located and easily reached. Train, underground and other public transportation have stops within walking distance of our locations.
