It's the precious metal course requested most, both by those who want to make a profession of it and by those who have a passion and want to cultivate the goldsmith's craft as a hobby. The students learn all the most important laboratory techniques by making various goldsmith object specially designed for this purpose, starting from the easiest to the more complex ones and using silver, considered by all to be the ideal metal for learning. The students own all the objects made in the laboratory and can therefore take everything home that they make during the course. The silver is provided by the School and is included in the course fee: the School tools are complete, so the student does not have to buy anything to attend the course.

Program: precious metals and their alloys, preparation of alloys for goldsmith's work, fusion, rolling and wiredrawing, realization of jewellery and goldsmith objects at the bench and relevant techniques (sawing, soldering by gas + air, use of the drill, emery-paper, milling, chasing, doming, tube making, clasp making, stone settings etc., rings and bracelets sizing, repairing) cleaning and polishing of the objects made. |
